Christiane Jaeger is a thoroughly trained and licensed psychologist with impressive educational and training background in Psychology and Counselling, Agricultural Science and Social Ecology. She specialises in Trauma, Alcohol & Other Drugs. Her knowledge in agriculture and horticulture assists her in understanding rural clients.
Christiane draws from her many years of professional experience in understanding each client’s needs to provide a tailored approach and solution. She has worked as a market garden manager and trainer of Aboriginal people near Alice Springs. She had her own horticultural business and was technical and research officer at the Department of Primary Industry. Her particular interest in psychology and rural people and their lifestyles served as a calling to her to counselling. Her professional experiences and the many years working with the local people exposed to their specific life circumstances help Christiane work with individuals from different walks of life on a range of issues. Proficient in using varied therapeutic approaches, she utilises these approaches in an integrated manner to provide a treatment and counselling program to suit each client.
With a holistic approach to psychological wellness, she integrates within a psycho-social-ecological framework personal, spiritual, social and ecological psychology aspects of living.
